These Leather Notebook covers are made for Large (5 x 8.25) or Medium (3.5in x 5.5in) Journals, Moleskine Cahier, Field Notes, or Passports. They are Midori style covers, with a high quality 3mm diameter round elastic used for the closure and holding the journal inside. The elastic allows for storage of pens; and helps secure extra papers and documents. Made with a high quality oil-tan leather, it is 4-5oz (2-3mm) thick. The Brown has a great “pull-up” effect, and will get a nice patina and wear nicely over time. The leather can get a nice distressed look, but light scratches and marks will disappear from heat and oil from your hands. The Midori style allows you to add more journals by adding another elastic band. If you plan on adding over 3 journals, mention it in the notes section and we will make sure the leather cover is made with more leather in the spine area. Contact us for custom sizing options.
